"Night Life" By Matt Savage
This Friday the 13th, be sure to come by and check out “Night Life” the latest collection of paintings by local artist Mat Savage.
A lot of Mat’s paintings draw upon the concept of Gaia, or Mother Earth, and each of the creatures in his paintings have a feminine, motherly quality to them. At the same time, there is an underlying concept of the cycle of life and death. All in all it creates a pleasing and somewhat dark result at the same time. You can see a collection of other projects and pieces Mat has created at his website www.matsavage.com.
The opening reception is held in conjunction with the 2nd Friday monthly art walk in the Greenwood-Phinney neighborhood. Band Vibes’ House is located inside the Greenwood Collective which houses 4 other art studios/galleries. As always there will be refreshments and great art to be had. Sponsors include AirBlaster, Brixton, and Fallen. Nothing like getting a jumpstart on your holiday gift giving by buying local art! 8537 Greenwood Ave N. Seattle, Wa.
Visit the other gallery sites at:

The Purple Razors Family and Friend Show
Well, it was a great night, I broke out due to stress (which I tried to drink away with whiskey and tea), we tapped the keg, had the most crowded studio in the building, and the art was pretty sick to boot. For all of those who didn't make it, well, your loss, however, because I am cool. Here are the photos to prove how rad it was, hopefully you can get a similar experience as if you were here sans the beer.
Stay tuned for December in which Lem Bartley will be debuting in a solo exhibition full of weird, wonderful imagery that will tickle all of your senses, especially your naughty ones... no it won't be a bunch of paintings of naked girls... well...
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, enjoy the photos below and feel free to contact us about pieces still for sale.

Sunday night in Pioneer Square
It's sunday night, as usual we headed down to the Central for our Sunday meeting, this is why we love Pioneer Square....
During our meeting we saw the last set of a metal band, drank stiff drinks, saw chicks with tattoos, and then witnessed a two round fight inside and then outside the bar, in which a guy got kneed in the face! The little guy lost, bad...
Anyway, technical difficulties with email have pissed me off, so I am posting this blog to let you know the show was rad, and if you missed it, well sucks for you. Here is a picture, expect a full post tomorrow.
